Want to give a session, but want some topics? We've listed below a few topics you can choose from. Also, feel free to add your own topic, but it must be related to Mozilla or OpenWeb.

  • Offline Storage in Firefox 3.5

30 Minutes, Raza Sayed and Kunal Bharati

A discussion about the HTML 5 specification for offline storage and support for the same in Firefox 3.5. Also,will be showing some demos to show offline storage in action in firefox 3.5. atents around video codecs, etc. and why we consider Firefox 3.5 such a milestone release in this regard.

  • Pad.ma, Firefogg and Open Video

30 Minutes, Jan Gerber and Sanjay Bhangar

Jan Gerber, lead developer of Firefogg (http://firefogg.org) and http://pad.ma, who now works with the Wikimedia Foundation to integrate open video into their processes, shall join us from Germany to demo some of the things he has been working on. Also, Sanjay Bhangar, shall go in-depth into some of the features on pad.ma to demonstrate the possibilities of video on the web that goes way beyond flash and the youtube paradigm that we are used to, while giving some background about the open video story, the politics of codecs, patents, etc.

  • Promoting Firefox: The MozHunt begins!

A discussion on how to promote OpenWeb and Firefox in Mumbai. Launching of MozHunt, Mumbai Edition and how it works.

  • GeoLocation API

20 Minutes, Dipen Chaudhary

Would discuss the geo location API which makes the web more location aware.
